Recently revealed Facebook is monitoring and labeling those who may have an opposing view against the social media norm ( per say ) or what is portrayed society's norm on or offline. Also Facebook is said to not only be tracking dissenters via their platform but also offline as well. Among these individuals deemed " Hate Agents " Facebook is likely tracking those who we purposely label as people haters or extremists who dare to advertise their hateful rhetoric via social media.
In a story published by Daily Beast , spoke about how people being doxxed after publicly speaking against immigration and later Facebook using those public statements later to effectively ban individuals associated with " Proud Boys " ( considered a alt right hate group ). from their platform. Does this labeling seem to have a liberal or left leaning view on societal , political ideology to basically identify the opposing advocates? It seems to have a resounding Yes answer. Is this right for this type of Orwellian , 1984 tactic to be used? No , but to be expected. We note it does violate the principals of free speech. Hence how this article made it on our blog.
